Terms of Service

Last updated: 8 July 2026

These Terms form a binding contract between you (the "Customer") and Data Professionals Ltd, trading as Pressifo, a company registered in England & Wales (Company No. 12030418, VAT No. GB 411 3471 40) ("Pressifo", "we", "us"). By creating an account or clicking "Request access" you accept them. If you are entering into them on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind it.

1. The service

Pressifo provides a subscription-based platform that helps you create press releases, discover journalists and send outreach emails. Nothing is sent from your account until you approve it.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and are responsible for all activity on your account. Do not share logins. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access.

3. Subscriptions, fees and taxes

  • Plans and monthly limits are shown on our Pricing page. Prices are in GBP and exclusive of VAT. UK VAT at the prevailing rate (currently 20%) is added at checkout. EU business customers with a valid VAT number are reverse-charged; non-EU customers are charged the net amount. You must keep your billing details, tax status and VAT number accurate.
  • A 14-day free trial is available. If you do not upgrade, your workspace is downgraded to a read-only state at the end of the trial.
  • Paid subscriptions renew monthly. You may cancel at any time from the Billing screen; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period and no refunds are given for partial months, save where required by law.
  • We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email. Continued use after the change constitutes acceptance.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Pressifo to:

  • Send unsolicited bulk email that would breach PECR, CAN-SPAM, CASL or equivalent laws.
  • Send content that is unlawful, misleading, defamatory, infringes third-party rights, or promotes hate, violence or discrimination.
  • Impersonate a third party or misrepresent your affiliation with any organisation.
  • Circumvent rate limits, scrape our platform, or reverse-engineer our models or infrastructure.
  • Contact any journalist who has unsubscribed or asked to be removed from Pressifo.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach this section, without refund, and cooperate with law-enforcement requests.

5. Your content and licence

You keep all rights in the content you upload (your website material, drafts, brand assets). You grant Pressifo a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, copy, transmit and process that content to provide the service. Aggregated, anonymised statistics may be used to improve the platform.

6. AI-generated output

Drafts produced by Pressifo are generated by AI on your instruction. You are responsible for reviewing every draft before approval and for the truthfulness, legality and appropriateness of anything you send. Output may be similar to output produced for other customers; no exclusivity is guaranteed.

7. Third-party services

The platform integrates with Stripe (payments), Resend (email delivery), Google (analytics, if consented) and various AI providers. Your use of those services is also governed by their own terms.

8. Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance is announced in advance where practical.

9. Warranties and liability

The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude all implied warranties. We do not exclude liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under UK law. Subject to that, our aggregate liability in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, revenue, goodwill, or data.

10. Indemnity

You will indemnify Pressifo against third-party claims arising from content you upload or emails you approve for sending in breach of these Terms or applicable law.

11. Termination

Either party may terminate on 30 days' notice. We may terminate immediately for material breach or non-payment. On termination, your access ends; account data is deleted after 30 days save where we must retain it by law.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that we may bring proceedings to protect our intellectual property in any competent court.
